Houston Texas is an emerging improvisation project by Juan Castañeda Santofimio and Alejandro Quiñones Roa. The duo likes to blend electroacoustic techniques (sampling, processing field recordings, and granular synthesis) with electronic devices and found objects (such as an electric guitar, canning jars, or whatever they come across); aiming to produce tranquil and repetitive sounds, as well as striking and unpleasant noises.
